Dena Suina was born in 1961 at San Felipe Pueblo and moved to Cochiti Pueblo when she married. She learned the art of making storytellers from her mother-in-law Louise Suina in the 1980s. Dena's storytellers are made with small children and painted with intricate designs. Dena's storytellers are handcoiled, hand pinched, and handmade. | ||
