Mary E Archuleta is a member of a great family of Santa Clara potters. Her mother was Margaret Tafoya and sisters are Toni Roller, Mela Youngblood, and Lu Ann Tafjoya. She married and moved to San Juan Pueblo in the 1960s. Mary was important in helping with the rise of San Juan incised pottery. She no longer makes pottery. | ||
