Maria Martinez SAN ILDEFONSO PUEBLO POtTER
		MAria Martinez   was an important San Ildefonso Potter. Maria discovered the technique of making and creating Black Pottery.  She influenced Pueblo Pottery and Potters like no other potter.  She was innovative and brillant given the mark she left on Native and Pueblo Pottery.  She died July 20 1980.                                                    .
