MARGARET & LUTHER GUITERREZ were born in 1936 and 1911 respectively and died in 2018 and 1987. They were brother and sister potters who were born to Lela and Van Guiterrez . They used a mixture of colors from natural pigments, including tan, red, green, blue, gold, black and white, to create beautiful polychome pieces of art, includig animal figurines. Luther's son Paul and his wife Dorothy, became known for their blackware mudheads. | ||
