MARCELLA YEPA is an outstanding and creative Jemez Pueblo potter. Marcella is a niece of longstanding award winning Jemez potter, Alvina Yepa. Marcella makes traditional Jemez pots, including melon pots and vases as well as vegetal dyed designed traditional Jemez pots. Marcella collects the clay and makes her pots at Jemez Pueblo but lives in Albuquerque. Marcella was awarded 2nd place for a Hand Coiled Turtle Figure in the SWAIA Sants Fe Indian Market 2018. | ||
