Carolyn Concho is one of the renowned Lewis sisters from Acoma Pueblo. Carolyn and her sisters make impressive seed pots, plates, and pots having won many awards for their pots and art. They use native clay and traditional, vegetal colors from Acoma Pueblo. Carolyn's seed pots are intricately decorated and designed with a three dimensional lizard's head or raised butterfly wing that appear to be reaching for the sky. Carolyn's pieces come to life because of her artistic three dimensional presentation. She shows annually in August at the Santa Fe Indian Market. Carolyn won honorable mention in Painted Any Form Pottery Category in 2013 Santa Fe Indian Market.
