Sandra Quandelacey is a well known Zuni Pueblo carver who specializes in creating Zuni maidens and corn maidens from turquoise, lapis, mother of pearl and picasso marble and jet. Sandra has carved beautiful maidens for many years, and is renown for her artistic skills. Sandra's maidens are detailed and often two and more sided. Sandra and her siblings, including Faye, Stewart, Georgia, Andres, Avery and Albenita, have helped to shape the direction of contemporary Zuni fetish carving. | ||
