Robert Weahkee carves traditional fetishes similar to some of his family members, including his late father Anderson Weahkee and aunt Lena Boone. Robert uses white marble, calcite, turquoise, dolomite and other stone to make interesting, old style altar dolls, eagles and other carvings. Robert's brother, Marcel, is also a fine young Zuni fetish carver. They are part of the well known Teddy Weahkee clan of Zuni fetish carvers. | ||
