Pernell Laate died in 2008. Pernell was a wonderful carver of human figures as well as birds and other animal fetishes. Pernell often used antler and fossilized ivory to create intricate and delicate carvings that gained world wide appeal. Pernell began carving in the middle 1980s along with his brother, Max. Pernell died in 2008. | ||
