Marnella's grandparents, Thelma and Aaron(d), were highly respected for their old style carvings and traditional orientation to Zuni life. Marnella carves striking paired wolves from the same piece of stone. She uses marble, dolomite, and other wonderful materials to create double wolves that represent mating or pairing for life.
