Jonathan's pieces are very popular among collectors in part due to their stylized look and the beautiful sgraffito designs on the carvings. Jonathan's uncle is Herbert Hustito, and his cousin was the late Staley Natewa. He learned the sgraffito technique from carver friend, Russell Shack.
