		herbert halatE    is a Zuni Puebo carver who creates          stylish and sleek mountain lions, wolves, and bears mostly using jet and silverado jet. Herbert adorns his carvings with beautiful turquoise packs or bundles. Herbert is an offspring of Leonard Halate who died in 2001, and carved folk art-like fetishes starting in the 1960s.
