Delvin Leekya is an established Zuni traditional carver from a very important family of carvers, the Leekya Deyuse family. Delvin's carvings of wolves, bears, badgers, turtles, and eagles attract many collectors due to their old style and traditional form and look. Delvin often uses Zuni stone or rock for his carvings but also carves from serpentine, shell, picasso marble and Green Snail Shell. Delvin and his brothers, Hayes and Freddie, are all well known Zuni carvers. | ||
