Judy Lewis | Acoma Storyteller Artist | Albuquerque | New Mexico Judy Lewis is a member of the Lewis sister group of traditional storyteller makers, seed pot, and plate artists from Acoma Pueblo. Judy and her sisters learned the art of pottery making at an eary age. Julia and Ted Reidy, the original owners of Penfield Gallery in Old Town, helped the Lewis sisters get started in the 1970s and 1980s by buying their early work. Judy was influenced in her artistic development by her sister, Marilyn Ray. Judy's delicate and intricate storytellers are adorned with lady bugs, birds, butterflies, dogs and cats.
