Anita Toya | Storyteller Artist | Penfield Gallery of Indian Arts | Albuquerque | New Mexico Anita Toya is the daughter of the late storyteller artist Mary E. Toya and the sister of Judy Toya. Anita has been making storytellers since the 1970s. Anita's storytellers are traditional looking, showing the influence of her Jemez Pueblo family. Anita has won awards at Santa Fe Indian Market and the Dallas Indian Market.
