Tonita Nampeyo is a well known potter from Hopi. Tonita is a daughter of Fannie Polacca and grandaughter of Nampeyo. Tonita's younger sister is the well known potter Iris Nampeyo. Tonita's traditional Hopi pottery styles and designs are also found in her famous family members pieces. Tonita influenced her son, Loren, who makes wonderful carved Hopi pottery.
