Grace Medicine Flower was born in 1938 . Grace Medicine Flower is part of the renowned Tafoya family of potters from Santa Clara Pueblo, including her aunt Margaret Tafoya, mother Agapita Yellow Flower, and her father Camilo Sunflower Tafoya. Grace Medicine Flower and her brother Joseph Lonewolf were some of the first potters to start using the sgraffito style of pottery making in the late 1960s. | ||
