Doris Patricio, his mother, and his brothers, Robert Patricio, and Myron Patricio are all very fine pottery artists. Douglas makes traditional Acoma Ollas using the hand building methods of pottery making, and yucca fibers to put the traditional, old style Acoma designs on his pottery.
